This Years Trips

The "Poor Boy's Lady" fishes the Chesapeake Bay from Chesapeake Beach to Cape Charles Virginia and in the Atlantic Ocean from Virginia Beach Virginia to Oregon Inlet, North Carolina.. The boat departs from Drury's Marina, St. Jerome's Creek in Ridge, Maryland. (April - December 15). The boat departs from Virginia Beach Fishing Center, Virginia Beach, Virginia (December 15 - February).The fishing season runs from April through February. We fish for Rock Fish (Stripers), Black and Red Drum, Cobia, Sharks, Spade fish, Tuna, Trout, Croaker (Hard head), Blue Fish, Flounder, Spot, and Spanish Mackerel.

We carry day or evening charters, half day or full day. A half day trip is 5 1/2 hours and a full day trip is 8 hours. We carry dinner cruises to Smith Island, St. George's Island and Solomon's Island. We also cater crab and/or shrimp feasts aboard the boat.

We suggest you bring sun glasses, sun block, ice, coolers to carry your fish home, plenty to eat and drink.

Fishing rods, tackle and bait will be provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own.
